Born in Oakland and raised in the Central Valley towns of Lodi and Stockton, MICHAEL got his first guitar in junior high school. After mastering a few chords and a rudimentary lead scale, his life-long love affair with music (specifically rock ‘n’ roll) began.
His first bands, formed with his junior high and high school classmates played assemblies and dances throughout the valley. Exploring other musical opportunities after finishing school he joined the highly successful country rock ensemble The Tulsa Band and did a three year stint as the house band at the Ermanno’s Sky Room in Lodi.
Another long tenured group he played with was The Sands Of Time, a rock ‘n’ roll outfit that toured extensively throughout Northern California. Performing from San Francisco to the sierra foothills, the band gained notoriety and were a fan favorite everywhere the played.
And then life happened...
Fast forward 25 years: And older and possibly (but not likely) wiser MICHAEL begins to assemble a group of seasoned musicians in the Bay Area. Starting slowly and taking time to get the right people on board, the genesis of That 70’s Band begins to take shape. The band name, inspired by a similarly titled TV show was the product of an all night brainstorming session by band members. Playing classic rock from the 60s, 70s and 80s the name embodies the essence of who the band is. A group of veteran musicians embracing the music of their youth and performing with joy and exuberance!

Transplanted from Seattle to San Jose in grade school, SETH begged his parents to play an instrument but was denied as his siblings had tried and given up. An epic failure at an audition for Christmas carolers at the local church reinforced his sister’s comment, “Nobody in our family can sing”.
But the defiant kid was not giving up. SETH played every guitar he could borrow while saving to buy his own. One night a friend lent his guitar to SETH overnight, so he stayed up all night playing and a lifelong relationship ensued. Finally, with his own guitar in hand, he spent every spare moment playing hit songs from the radio.
A professional musician and poker friend of his dad advised SETH, “Get in a band if you really want to learn”. So started a decades-long pattern of looking for a band or being in band. One night in a bar during a band break between sets SETH heard a woman say, “Guys only like the music they heard in High School”. Only hearing what he wants to hear, SETH thought, “Great idea! I’ll play songs I heard in High School!”
After the pandemic SETH began a search for a new band which led him to That 70s Band completing the foursome.

Born, raised, and still stuck in .... Concord JERRY didn't start playing in bands until his late 40's.
Always on the other side of the sound board, Jerry was drawn to the mixing and production side of live performance and making bands sound their best.
In the early 2010's JERRY (rhythm guitar) and his brother Don (keys and vocals) formed a band called The Jesters and out of the gate won the Red House Covers Cup contest and a spot at the Lafayette Wine and Art Festival. JERRY found his true calling on the bass with a hard rock band called CuddleTime, and then was with Off The Record until the pandemic hit.
Post pandemic, JERRY found That 70's Band and fit right in. Once Seth joined, we knew we had something special.
JERRY lays down the low end, and manages the PA.
